JOB: TRAINING MANAGER

Job purposes
• Will be responsible for both companys training function
and third party consultancy training, using knowledge of the
principles and methods of curriculum and training
development, marketing and management
Key tasks of Training Manager
• Designing and developing training and development
programmes based on the requirements of clients.
• Marketing of training programmes to clients that will
benefit from well structured training courses, workshop or
seminars on continuous basis
• Work with clients Training Managers to facilitate training
courses and programmes with the best experienced and
practical application
• Identifying training and development needs within the
company through job analysis, appraisal schemes and
regular consultation with business line managers and
human resources departments;
• Conduct evaluation of the performance of instructors and
the result of the training programmes; make
recommendations to enhance the quality and effectiveness of
every training programme
• Coordinate between internal efforts and external services
in education in relation to training the staff of the company
and of clients
• Analyse, summarize, compile and submit reports and
results to management and to clients as may be necessary
• Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees
through questionnaires and discussions with managers
• Schedule training program as per training calendar and
arranging the training programmes accordingly
Qualifications
• Applicants must have a good university degree in
engineering or natural sciences including computer and
mathematics, plus 6-8 years cognate experience in
curriculum development, organizing and running training
programmes with excellent understanding of e-Iearning
techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the
creation and/or delivery or e-Iearning packages
• He/She must be articulate with excellent inter-personal
skills
