Some people don't like to buy blackberry because of the monthly subscription before you browse.
In this tutorial I will be showing you how to browse with your blackberry without the monthly subscription and also use some certain browsing and chatting application like OPERA and 2GO.
NOTE: This following settings is been tested and working fine with OS5
To browse on your blackberry you have to configure your TCP/IP settings on your blackberry.
How to get to TCP/IP
From Your Home Screen, Go to Options => Advanced Options scroll down untill you see TCP/IP
This how you configure your TCP/IP
Tick the "APN Settings Enabled" box
Tick the "APN Authentication Enabled" box then input the following settings
For Mtn users
APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Username for APN: web
Password for APN: web
For Glo users
APN: Glosecure
Username for APN: gprs
Password for APN: gprs
For Etisalat users
APN: Etisalat
Note: don't tick the "APN Authentication Enabled" box if you are using ETISALAT.
That's all enjoy your settings with OPERA and 2GO.
